Since graduating from The California College of Ayurveda and the American Institute of Vedic Studies in 2006, I've been helping my clients cleanse and detoxify their bodies through the traditional Ayurvedic method of Pancha Karma. It's been my pleasure and honor to witness the remarkable changes that occur in the body and mind when all of that toxic sludge is flushed out.
Pancha Karma officially became my passion and specialty during the 5 years that I spent at a private Ayurvedic detoxification center in Northern California. There, I worked hands on with nearly every client who walked through our doors. I evolved into a Jill of all trades, nourishing our clients with my home cooked kitchari, managing the spa suite and therapy space as well as assisting each client through their transformational process of Pancha Karma with my bodywork and therapies as a practitioner. In addition to working full time at the center, I also assisted in teaching 5 workshops annually to the new students of CCA who were interested in learning about Pancha Karma and Ayurvedic Body Therapies.
I've developed the Juicy Yogi Detox Program because of my passion for keeping the body strong, healthy and beautiful for as long as possible. I believe in using nature as medicine. Preventative health measures are the best way to keep disease at bay and live a life full of vitality and joy.
For many, the science is Ayurveda seems complicated, mysterious and a bit daunting. This is precicesly why I choose to communicate it with simple and contemporary language that anyone can grasp. After all, Ayurveda is both ancient and modern. It is living and growing and expanding - as useful and applicable today as it was 5.000 years ago.
Whether you're familiar with Ayurveda (yoga's sister science) or just beginning your exploration, I would love to work with you if you feel ready to put your trust in the most effective system of natural medicine there is.
